 Speaking Engagements
In 1946, Macy's Annual Flower Show began with a vase of
flowers in the cosmetics department. Since then, the Macy's Flower Show
tradition has grown into millions of blooms and millions of visitors. Each
spring, Macy's visual team consults with horticulturists and garden
designers to create an urban flower sanctuary both inside and outside the
Macy's flagship Union Square store, located in downtown San Francisco.
This event is Macy's Spring Trend event, taking place one week before and after the Easter holiday. Macy's created an amazing botanical wonderland with thousands of
blooming bulbs and spring flowers inspired by the gardens of China. The two-week long event celebrated spring with distinctive Chinese cuisine, and magnificent scenery taken from the landscape of the country, highlighted by
special guest appearances from artisans, musicians, culinary experts, a HGTV personality, celebrity appearances, and a Master-level Feng Shui presentation sponsored by California Home and Design Magazine.
